Flying North from Buenos Aires to visit Iguazú Falls |
2/3 of the falls are in Argentina the other 1/3 in Brazil |
Just entering the park was breath taking and could have been enough as there were walkways every where |
We purchased the Total Package and were told it would be a big full day and it was..... |
First was a boat ride thru' the jungle to where most of the walking paths converged |
There was a promise we would see alligators and we did |
Another boat (jet) ride took us literally INTO the falls, where you got COMPLETELY wet |
Leaving the park at the end of the day
we took a Safari Truck Ride which goes thru'
another part of the jungle, then back to where
we entered the park that morning.
(I regret neither Mayrene or Rob got a picture of our Safari Ride,
they must have been really tired..)
It was a day never to be forgotten
The Falls are Magnificent, they are part of a virgin jungle ecosystem protected by Argentine and Brazilian National parks. They stretch over two miles,4 times the width of Niagara Falls |
