Iguazú Falls

Flying North from Buenos Aires to visit Iguazú Falls

2/3 of the falls are in Argentina the other 1/3 in Brazil

Just entering the park was breath taking and could have
been enough as there were walkways every where

We purchased the Total Package
and were told it would be a big full day
and it was.....

First was a boat ride thru' the jungle
to where most of the walking paths converged

There was a promise we would see alligators and we did

Another boat (jet) ride took us literally INTO the falls,
where you got COMPLETELY wet
Leaving the park at the end of the day
we took a Safari Truck Ride which goes thru'
another  part of the jungle, then back to where
we entered the park that morning.
(I regret neither Mayrene or Rob got a picture of our Safari Ride,
they must have been really tired..)

It was a day never to be forgotten

The Falls are Magnificent,
they are part of a virgin jungle ecosystem
protected by Argentine and Brazilian National parks.
They stretch over two miles,4 times the width of Niagara Falls
