2nd Day-before "trying" to leave area of Iguazú Falls

Visited Gira-Oga a wildlife reserve
Unimpressive, not much there

This place was made out of the largest tree trucks in the world

This home was made from sections of the large trucks
and all their furniture was made from trucks as well

Next, we visited the Wanda mines.
This was farming ground until 1976

when an earthquake upheaved hundreds of geodes

now the family mines semi-precious stones
and for a mere 4 pecos you can mine your own

It's pretty easy to chip away a little piece, but the piece
I liked sold for $16,000 dollars

We stood in Argentina
looked to the left at Paraguay and to the right at Brazil

Our taxi broke down a few miles from the airport,
by the time we got another one, we were running late

When we arrived we were sure we had missed our
flight as hardly anyone was in the small airport.
An airstrike!! And it will last several days!!!

One Way Choice back to Buenos Aires

A nineteen hour bus ride

How happy we were to see Buenos Aires
