Missed destination-Great Blessing

Mayrene had planned the entire trip and we were on a schedule with flights booked, certain places to be at certain times.  We hadn't missed any connection yet and thought we still had time to catch our train to Rosario, where Rob and Dave were to reminisce serving  together in the mission field some 40 years before.

The one train a day had already left for Rosario
so we went to a bus station, no bus for another day,
so we changed  our course, waited four hours to
take a bus to San Nicolas

With no reservation, we checked into a sleazy hotel.
I didn't even care,  and dropped into bed

Dave knew a missionary serving in San Nicoles, called him
and they meet at our Hotel.  The missionary showed
directions to a chapel and gave him the time where
we could meet and attend church together.



We were late leaving, as I was still sick, so we missed that Sacrament Meeting.
