Skiing

Everyone who knows us, knows skiing has been a great part of our lives

And we like our snow STEEP AND DEEP
This day it was to deep !!

Tamarack after a terrific snowfall

View from top of Brundage Mountain
overlooking Payette Lake and the City of McCall

Our dream---"To Live on a lake, near a ski hill."
Our move to McCall in 1992 almost made the dream come true

After all these years, Rob finally enjoys skiing as much
as I do.  Problem is he's now getting better than me

We often ask ourselves is skiing a Passion or a Social
We've decided it is both
Annual Trailgate party to end the ski season

You are looking at "almost" first tracks and perfect
powder conditions.  Robert is at the top checking it out
and Clyde Dillon is trackin' it up.

Lindy cuttin' it up

Lindy skiing in deep powder. It doesn't get any
better than this...

Brundage Ski Resort
We just love this place

In 2003 a new ski resort opened near our home
TAMARACK
we purchased a combo pass, but always
preferred skiing at Brundage with our friends

Rob in perfect snow conditions
Check out the beauty of the snow covered trees

Who is this or should I say What is this!!
Lindy?

This is what you call Ski-In  Ski-out
We get on the chair lift a few yards from pickup, then
at the end of our day, ski right up to our tailgate

rush home, (making sure to have no heat in the pickup)
and jump in the hot tub
Life Is Good !

These pictures represent only a hundredth of
Our Ski Adventures
We love skiing with our family. Check out post"Skiing with our kids and grandchildren.

Snow Shoeing

Snowshoeing is wonderful exercise

We choose to go on beautiful crisp sunny days

Our favorite place is Lick Creek

You can follow the River "Lick Creek"
for several miles

The Geese love to snowshoe along with us

Once we tried to Snowshoe into
Goose Creek Falls

We ended up taking our Snowshoes back to the car
and we hiked in thru' deep snow.
It was CRAZY, but we made it

Snowshoeing always bridge the Seasons
