ATVing Winters

ATVing in the Winter is a Blast
Not as much Fun as Skiing
(however many times the Ski Hill
has not opened, so Winter ATVing
fills in that "blank spot")

It is necessary to stay on the trails

The snow cannot be much deeper than 1 or 2 feet

There is usually a fair amount of downfall

It's harder to convince our ATV buddies
that it's not too cold

The steams and rivers are still flowing
and the rocks in the steams look like
snow puffs
It's really pretty!!

when the snow gets too deep
it's easy to get stuck, as the
machines high center

the lakes have not yet frozen over
and sometimes the fishing is good

Many times we leave in the morning on snowpack
and return in the warm late afternoons in mud

The Stones in their Rhino, can go anywhere we go
and they can keep up with us as well
