| These three bears were regular visitors every fall to our Motel and house, so we names them Burly, Brownie and Blackie Unfortunantly they got in trouble with the forest service. They were removed to Hells Canyon twice, but when they came back for the third time, the forest service killed them, much to our distress |

| This fox is Ethel. Shortly after both my mother and father died in 1999, two fox showed up We feed them for several years, they became really friendly and would follow us from the motel up to the house for a snack. We named them after my mom and dad, Charley & Ethel |
